Privacy Policy & Zero-Data Retention Declaration
Effective Date: August 28, 2026
At AgeCalculator.org, your privacy is our foundational architectural constraint. We believe that personal chronological data (such as your date of birth, time of birth, and calculation milestones) should remain completely confidential.
1. 100% Client-Side Data Execution
All computations on AgeCalculator.org are performed locally inside your device's web browser using client-side JavaScript. When you enter a birth date, target date, or time:
- No data is sent over the internet to our servers.
- No records of your inputs are saved in external databases.
- No persistent cookies track your personal calculations.
2. Local Storage Usage
The only data written to your browser's localStorage is your chosen interface theme preference (Dark Mode or Light Mode) under the key age_calc_theme. This ensures that your preferred visual contrast settings persist between visits without identifying you.
3. GDPR & CCPA Compliance
Because we do not collect, process, sell, or transmit Personally Identifiable Information (PII), our website is inherently compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and international privacy frameworks by design.
4. Third-Party Hosting & Content Delivery
Our static assets are distributed via Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect standard anonymized network telemetry (e.g., HTTP request counts and basic geo-routing IP data) strictly for cybersecurity defense and DDoS mitigation.
5. Contact Regarding Privacy
